Plastic Angels is an art collaboration raising awareness about poverty and plastic pollution in Bali. Working with international artists, they create artworks from plastic waste, portraying children from the Suwung trash-picker community, with each piece linked to the child's story via a QR code.
Art Irene Hoff joined the initiative, creating a mixed media portrait of a 10-year-old girl named Vita, integrating plastic trash collected from a Bali beach into the canvas. During an art show at Alila Hotel Seminyak, the piece was successfully sold, with the proceeds donated to support the cause.
